Paris, France, Day Two

Today we arose early to the city of lights.

We went first to the Louvre and spent hours looking around everything the greatest museum on Earth has to offer.  I have never been so amazed by art.  I think the best and most undiscovered part of the Louvre is those magnificent ceilings.  People really do not put enough time forward in surveying them.

After touring the Louvre we walked up through the obelisk area and the gardens onto the arc de triumph where we had the most amazing view of the city imaginable.

After all that walking we boarded back on the tacky tourist bus to get to the Eiffel tower to head straight to the top.  The view was amazing and was made even more interesting by the massive storm clouds moving in, even though the fog ruined a few shots.

Today has been an amazing day in Paris.  I am completely in love with the city.  Unfortunately we decided to walk back to our hotel from the tower, so now we are all to tired to speak.

Paris is truly the city of dreams.

Paris, France, Day One

Today, we were tourists.
We took the double deck buses around the city and really got a magnificent overview of Paris.  This place is such an amazing city.  I love it here.
We toured Notre Dame, looked around the Eiffel tower, and saw everything else that you can possibly imagine.  It was a long and tiring day, and I made the mistake of not drinking enough and getting dehydrated, but it was a magnificent first day.
Paris really is everything I ever dreamed of.
